The project seeks to further develop artists in residence programmes throughout Serbia. A matching fund dedicated to co-funding existing residencies is installed, bringing artists together and advocating for a more open and diverse society through independent artists.
EUNIC AiR consists of ten artistic residencies over a two year period within the fields of theatre, literature, design, jazz and art. During the programme, the organisers will set up a joint bar camp. This will bring the residing artists together to share their residence experiences and debate on European, digital and global issues. A complemental communication campaign will be arranged during the artists’ stay in Serbia.
In the video, Swedish designer and Nova Iskra resident Kristofer Sundin talk about the value of international residency programs.
