Artistic residencies and discussion panels with Thai art scene

During Bangkok Art Biennale, the first Res Artis’ conference in Southeast Asia will be host by Subhashok the Art Centre. EUNIC members will take advantage of this important meetings beam to invite, just before this event, European artists to collaborate with Thai artists during a 15-day period.

The European/Thai duos, followed by students in Art Dpt, will share their vivid experiences and will give concrete examples of their residencies during the event through exhibitions, performances and talks. By soliciting the network of artists/curators/students upstream of the project, we wish to strengthen the existing dynamic, make it more coherent and more coordinated. There are few links between performing and visual arts fields, we wish to initiate and try to perpetuate the dialogue, strongly initiated and developed during the implementation’s period.
