For its first edition, the European Cultures Week in Athens gathered a number of events and common activities under the theme of Diversity. In 2020, the 2nd edition will be focused on Sustainability.
The second edition of the Cultures Week aims to raise awareness on the impact that the human activity has on the environment, transmit knowledge and share good practices. The theme is approached through exhibitions, performances, screenings, readings, and mainly participatory workshops and seminars addressed to professionals, creators and students, aiming to inform about the urgency to act through sustainable practices.
